Torrent Power Limited has once again entrusted Buildquick with the execution of a critical power infrastructure project—the construction of a 220/66 kV Switchyard and Control Room at Surat — underscoring Buildquick’s proven capability and consistent performance in delivering complex utility projects.
Buildquick successfully executed the complete civil works scope, including the construction of a two-storied, state-of-the-art control room building, switchyard foundations, underground cable trenches (both inside and outside the building), RCC internal roads, compound wall, and all allied civil works for the 220/66 kV switchyard at Surat.
This project represents a first-of-its-kind, advanced control room facility, equipped with fully computerized systems designed to efficiently operate and monitor multiple distribution panels. Architecturally, the building is distinguished by all-round curtain glazed cladding, reflecting modern industrial aesthetics while meeting stringent functional and operational requirements.
The successful completion of this project further reinforces Buildquick’s expertise in delivering high-precision, technology-driven power infrastructure aligned with the exacting standards of leading utilities such as Torrent Power Limited, and adds another landmark development to Surat’s critical electrical infrastructure.
